Find your perfect fit

Finding the right size is the foundation of feeling confident and comfortable in your shapewear. At The Shapewear Club, we design pieces that support your natural shape, never restrict it.

Comfort Shapes Confidence, and the right fit is where that confidence begins.

Why sizing matters

Shapewear is designed differently from regular clothing. It is created to smooth, support and contour the body, which means it will feel more structured when first worn.

Choosing a smaller size will not create better shaping. In fact, sizing down can reduce comfort and prevent the garment from performing as intended. The correct size allows the fabric and construction to work with your body, not against it.

Our sizing philosophy

We believe shaping should feel supportive, wearable and empowering.

Every body is unique, which is why our sizing charts are guides rather than strict rules. If you are between sizes, comfort should always come first. A well-fitting garment will shape naturally while still allowing freedom of movement.

How to measure yourself

For the most accurate fit, use a flexible measuring tape and measure directly on your body.

Waist
Measure the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. This is often the most important measurement for shapewear and waist-focused styles.

Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, including the fullest area of the glutes. Keep your feet together and the tape parallel to the floor.

Bust (for bras & bodysuits)
Measure around the fullest part of your chest while wearing a lightly supportive bra.

Stand up straight, exhale naturally and ensure the tape feels snug without digging into the skin. For best accuracy, measure twice.

What if my measurements do not match one size?

It is completely normal for waist, hips and weight to fall into different size ranges.

  • If comfort is your priority, follow your hip measurement.
  • If you prefer a firmer shaping feel, follow your waist measurement more closely.

Your preference and comfort level should guide the final choice.

Between sizes?

If you fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size. Shapewear is designed to feel structured from the start, and a slightly roomier fit often provides a better long-term experience.

A garment that feels too tight can reduce comfort and discourage regular wear, something we aim to avoid.

How should shapewear feel?

It is normal for shapewear to feel more supportive and structured than everyday clothing, especially when worn for the first time. The fabric will adapt slightly to your body over time, creating a balanced feel between shaping and comfort.

Support should feel secure, never restrictive.

Product-specific size charts

Each product page includes its own sizing chart tailored to that design and compression level. Because fabrics, silhouettes and support levels vary, always refer to the size chart on the specific product before ordering.
